Event Description

WDKE is a space for the dissemination of scientific and professional academic activity in the area data and knowledge engineering, including:

  • Presentations of short papers and posters
  • Invited Talks

WDKE 2017 will be held in Arica, Chile, as part of JCC and INFONOR-Chile 2017
Paper Submission
Authors are invited to submit short papers of 4-6 pages that report original results of scientific research. Also, high-quality survey papers are acceptable. Papers should be written in English language and submitted through the EasyChair platform, visiting the following URL https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=wdke2017
The submitted short papers will be reviewed by an international program committee. The authors of the best two accepted and effectively presented papers will be invited to submit a 10-page full paper that would be considered for publication in a special issue of the INGENIARE journal (indexed Scopus/Scielo Chile)

The accepted papers will be required to design a poster for the presentation of the paper, the format will be sent to the authors of accepted papers
Author Registration
At least one author from each accepted paper must be registered for JCC – INFONOR 2017 by the 29th of September 2017.  In case this requirement is not met, then the work will be retired from the event’s program
WDKE would accept research works in the subject of data and knowledge engineering, mainly on but not limited to:

Important Dates

  • Deadline to receive articles: August 13, 2017
  • Notification of acceptance / rejection: September 04, 2017
  • Final version (camera-ready): September 25, 2017
  • Presentation: October 18, 2017
