Due to several petitions for paper submissions for CCEC 2017, there is a new deadline for Monday August 21st, 2017
 
The aim of the Chilean Congress of Computer Education, track of the International Conference of the Chilean Society of Computer Science, is to enable the improvement of teaching practices in computer education, through the exchange of results

 

Preliminary Call for Papers CCEC2017
It is invited to submit articles that describe experiences and analyze results of teaching practice in the training of students, in particular, activities that motivate the study of the discipline and innovations that improve learning of students in this area
 
Papers must be original and unpublished in substantially similar versions
 
Submitted articles will be judged according to criteria of originality, clarity and contribution to the university teaching of Computing and Informatics, by at least three reviewers of the program committee
 
The proceedings of the International Conference and its tracks will be published by IEEE-CS (indexed in SCOPUS & ISI PROCEDURES) and available through IEEE Xplore. Therefore, all accepted articles must have the publication standards and have at least one of the authors registered in the event
 
Submissions must be formatted according to the IEEE CS proceedings format (download template here). Papers can be written in English, Spanish or Portuguese and from 4 pages up to 12 pages, according to the contribution of the paper. Submissions will be made through the EasyChair system (apply here)
 
CCEC is a successor of the Chilean Congress of Higher Education in Computing CCESC, which has been carried out since 1999 as part of the Chilean Computer Conference (JCC). In 2017 the JCC, together with INFONOR, will take place at the University of Tarapacá (Arica) from October 16 to 20

Autor’s Registration
At least one author of each accepted article must register with the JCC by Friday, September 29, 2017. Failure to comply with this requirement will remove the work from the event program
